My Wishlist

I’m pretty frugal with money and don’t buy things very frequently, but that doesn’t prevent me from window shopping! This is the current list of products I’d love to have show up at my doorstep…although this also definitely isn’t everything!

Eyes

The Body Shop | Color Crush Eyeshadow | $10 | I have several of these that I love, but I swatched a ton in store that I would also love to add to my collection. On my list are Brownie & Clyde, Grape Expectations, and Mon Cherry.

Chi Chi | Baked Eye Shadow | $15 | I saw these in a video by Sally Jo, and the Light Brown, Medium Brown, and Warm Brown shades look like they would fill my desire for matte brown eyeshadow perfectly. A.k.a. I’m Every Woman, Living on a Prayer, and Enough is Enough.

Coastal Scents | Shadow Pot | $1.95 | Based on swatches I’ve seen online, I’d love to try these in….well, brace yourself for a long list. The shades I most want are Oatmeal Tan, Harvest Brown, Light Taupe, Mai Tai, Coconut Husk, New Terrain, Panama Rose, and Timeless Taupe. These are followed by Mauve Frost, Rustic Maroon, Victorian Pear, Sassy Grass, Violet Echo, Wizardry, Forest Eve, and Ashen.

These shades are ones that I love the color of, but I’m worried are too similar to something already in my collection: Tangerine, Peachy Copper, Bright Copper, Boca Mocha, Dark Goldenrod, Raisin Berry, Peach, Peach Silver, Chai Spice, Bazaar, Canyon Coral, Dreamsicle, Coral Blossom, Georgia Peach, Perfect Plum, Peachy Keen, Ice Ballet, Persian Peach, Aluminum Taupe, Thulian Pink.

And these are shades that are new and different, but very out of the ordinary for me and I am therefore nervous about getting due to lack of wearability for me: Paprika, Pinehurst, Watermelon, Kiwi Green, Rainstorm, So Jaded, Deep Eggplant, Fresh Chive, Wine Berry, Concrete Jungle, Icelandic, Cherry Moss, Niagara, Southern Wood, Tyrian Purple, Elven Midnight. This seems like a ton of eyeshadows, but seeing as there are 370+ shades in total…

Neutral Palettes

Lorac | Pro Palette | $42 | I’ve been lusting after various high-end neutral palettes… and this is the top of the list.

Too Faced | Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection | $36 | This was my first lusted-after neutral eyeshadow palette, and I came so close to getting it this summer. I backed out at the last minute because of the price, but it’s definitely still on the list.

Too Faced | Chocolate Bar | $49 | Another Too Faced palette – I love how many matte shades it has.

Makeup Revolution | I Heart Chocolate Palette | $14 | This is supposedly a dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, and less than half the price, so… why not?

Bobbi Brown | Sand Palette | $65 | I’ve thought this was drop-dead gorgeous from the moment its release e-mail landed in my inbox.

Marc Jacobs | The Lolita Palette | $59 | I saw this at Sephora while I was looking for a neutral duo/palette, but the price was way too steep for me.

Clinique | Color Surge Duo in Like Mink | $26 | I also saw this at Sephora while looking for neutral colors, and I almost went for it. The highlighting shade was just slightly frostier than I was looking for in a professional duo that day, but I would still love to own this.

NARS | Duo Eyeshadow | $35 | There are so many of these that I want! A lot of them are neutral, like All About Eve, Madrague, Bellissima, and Alhambra, but there’s also bright ones like Tzarine or Marie-Galante.

bareMinerals | READY Eyeshadow | $30 quad, $20 duo | Quad in The Truth, Duos in The Enlightenment, The Escape, The Nick of Time… and even getting off of my neutral bent with The Paradise Found.

Chi Chi | Glamorous Eyeshadow Palette in Classics | $23 | I saw these in a Youtube video by Sally Jo, and thought they might fit the bill for a matte nude palette. Then I looked up swatches, and realized that the palettes leaned heavily towards the shimmer side. Still, the Classics palette has some beautiful matte shades and looks all around lovely!

Chi Chi | Eyeshadow Quad in Sophisticated Sassy | $20 | I saw this quad while browsing the Chi Chi website. I was unable to find swatches for it, but it looks so pretty regardless.

Face

NYX | Powder Blush | $5 | I’ve been wearing blush almost every day recently, even though I barely used to wear it at all. I’ve heard great things about these particular blushes, and I also really love the affordable price! The top of my wishlist is Taupe, since I own nothing else like it. Followed by Mauve, Summer Peach, Dusty Rose, and Pecan.

Benefit | Majorette Booster Blush | $28 | I’ve never tried a cream/mousse blush before, but this color looks gorgeous!

Too Faced | Bonjour Soleil Summer Bronzing Wardrobe | $44 | I’ve heard great things about Too Faced’s bronzers, and this contains three of the ones I’m interested in trying.

Too Faced | Bronzed & Poreless Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer | $30 | This is another of those Too Faced bronzers that looks really attractive.

Chi Chi | Real Mineral Powder in Translucent/Finishing | $20 | I’ve been loving my Mineral Booster by e.l.f., and I’d love to try a similar yet different type of product.

Coastal Scents | Forever Blush in Fresh | $8 | I own this in Poetic, and I love it!

Pumpkin & Poppy | Oak Bark Contouring Powder | $ | I saw a review of this on Brightest Bulb in the Box, and it seems like a lovely color! Then I headed over to their Etsy shop, and now I have a whole wishlist going…

Lips

LAQA & Co | Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in Bees Knees | $18 | I have this in a bright purple color, and while I love the formula, a coral would be so much more wearable.

Besame Cosmetics | Classic Color Lipstick in Red Velvet, Dusty Rose | $22 | I saw this on the Birchbox website, and it just looks so incredibly beautiful. I especially love the packaging!

Swatches: http://theeverydaybeauty.blogspot.com/2011/05/besame-cosmetics-classic-color-lipstick.html

Sephora | Rouge Cream Lipstick | $12.50 | I saw Sally Jo wearing this in Ingeneous in one of her videos, and I thought the color looked amazing.  Then I went on the Sephora website and realized how many other gorgeous colors of this lipstick there were.

Revlon | Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic, Audacious, Mischevious | $9.50

Rimmel London | Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 104, 107, 109 | $5

Body

Sabon | Body Scrub | $33 | I tried the Lavender Apple scrub in one of the Sabon stores in Paris, and I couldn’t stop smelling my hands all day. When I’m a real adult, I’m definitely going to have this in my bathroom.

Tocca | Hand Cream Trio in Cleopatra, Florence, & Bianca | $20 | I have the Florence hand cream and love it, so I’m waiting to add the others to my collection. Unfortunately, I can’t justify it until I run through some more of my tubes of hand cream!

Perfume

Harvey Prince | Hello rollerball | $26 | I received a sample of this in my Birchbox, and fell in love.

Brands

This is a section for all the brands I’d love to try, but haven’t researched enough to determine which specific products I’d want to get.

Sleek | I’ve heard they have great blushes.

MAC | Eyeshadows. That’s all I have to say. I’m sure their other products are great, but the eyeshadows are the ones everyone talks about.
