#LOTD: New Year’s Eve

While this is probably not what I’m actually going to wear on New Year’s Eve, since I plan on staying at home listening to jazz and sipping champagne with family, I think it would be a suitable look for another activity! I could see myself wearing this makeup to either a glamorous holiday party or for a night of dancing at a club.

Here are my supplies:

The eyes are the most important part of this look. I used two shades from the Coastal Scents Revealed 2 palette and an e.l.f. smudge pot in Brownie Points. I started off by spreading primer all over my lids. Then I used the smudge pot on the outer two-thirds of my lid. I dabbed the matte maroon shade (bottom left) from the Revealed 2 palette along my crease, and the pale gold shimmer shade (top right) into the inner corner of my eye.

I finished my eyes with a coat of Mirenesse iCurl mascara.

On my face I used a pale pink illuminator from No. 7 along my cheekbones. Then I brushed on my Coastal Scents Forever Blush in Poetic, which is a satin peach. I finished up with my new favorite perfume, Love Story by Chloé.

And ta-da! You’re ready to go. Well, I did dab on some concealer over my forehead, but you do you. I also just realized that, since I wasn’t actually going out when I applied this, I didn’t put on any lipstick. In the photos I’m wearing Burt’s Bees lip balm in Pomegranate. But I would recommend wearing any MLBB (my lips but better) lipstick, or even a red if you want to go all out. And now… ta-da!
